OUR HISTORY

The history of Emeral began in 1977, when Mr. Ioannis Koulouridis opened a small bakery on the site where the store stands today. There, we baked bread, sweets, and traditional tsourekia, filling the space with the aroma of wood and the warmth of home.

Over the years, his sons, Konstantinos and Andreas, took over the family business. They moved forward with love and consistency, developing the art of pastry making and coffee. As a result, the family’s goal is quality and the creation of new flavors that are embraced by young and old alike.

Emeral quickly became known for its fresh pastries, variety of products, and prompt, friendly service. Today, we are trusted by residents of Corfu and the visitors who arrive on the island every summer.

In addition, Emeral is a benchmark for traditional tsourekia, summer tsourekia, handmade sweets, and savory beloved Corfu recipes. Moreover, we continue to develop new flavors with the same passion, always maintaining the authenticity that characterizes us.
